Playing on the river can be great fun but we also arrange sessions at a local swimming pool to introduce new skills and further improve techniques for kayakers. At each session you will be able to concentrate on key areas which you would like to improve, while one of our coaches stands in the water next to you and guides you through the processes. We have found that the more difficult skills, such as rolling, can be successfully introduced in the swimming pool where individual attention can be provided to each paddler. Once these skills have been introduced or improved in the swimming pool you can then practice them on the river with added confidence.
