Members Training 2016
Isis Canoe Club offers training in Kayaking and Open Canoeing to all its members to enable them to become better paddlers and more capable members within the club.
All our courses are led by fully qualified BCU volunteer coaches and equipment is provided.
Visit our membership page for details about joining the club.
For more details about training, to check availability and to book your place contact the Course Secretary.
For technical questions about how the training is run please contact Helen Walker.
Please Note
- All training starts promptly at 6:30pm and ends at approximately 8:30pm. We recommend arriving by 6pm to ensure you are fitted for your boat and kit in time for the start of the session.
- After the below courses there is the opportunity to sign up to continuation training for touring and white water.
- Ensure you are able to attend each session of both Part A and Part B for your chosen course before booking.
Below are examples of what both a Kayak and Canoe look like. This will assist you when deciding which course to book onto.
