Axminster and Lyme Regis Sea Kayaking Weekend

Lyme Regis 1 On 22-23 June, Mary, Neil, Pete, Pamela,Philip and I went down to stay on Andy's field again for the annual camp and sea paddle. Four of us all had new boat, as yet untried on the sea. - see 'photo in attachment. We were all very happy with our new purchases and look forward to many happy hours paddling. We met many old friends and some new ones - all very friendly. The weather wasn't bad. The first day, we set off from the Axe estuary and went to Bere Head, turned round and called in at Lime Regis, eventually pulling out at Charmouth. The next day, we started from Charmouth and paddled, through a thunderstorm, not overhead to Seatown. We had a wonderful BBQ on Saturday, with WONDERFUL home made chips cooked by our hostess.
